Nestled in the heart of Waikato's vibrant artistic scene since 1999, Val Stokes Studio Gallery is more than just an art space; it's a creative sanctuary where originality and inspiration converge. Over two decades, we've cultivated a rich tapestry of local talent, showcasing the works of some of the region's most captivating artists. Our story began with Val Stokes herself, a visionary artist whose passion for art transcended the canvas. She saw an opportunity to share her love for creativity with others and, in doing so, established Val Stokes Studio Gallery. The gallery quickly became a beacon for artists and art enthusiasts alike, offering more than just beautiful pieces - it provided a platform for stories to be told, ideas to flourish, and connections to be made. Today, our walls continue to reverberate with the energy of emerging and established talents, as we host an ever-changing array of exhibitions. But we're not just about showcasing art - we believe in nurturing it too. That's why we offer a variety of workshops and classes for those eager to explore their own artistic flair, from beginners to seasoned artists. If you're looking for the perfect frame to encapsulate your prized artwork or a piece from our gallery, our expert framing service is here to help. We understand that every piece deserves the best presentation, and we take pride in delivering exquisite results that enhance rather than overshadow the art itself. But our commitment to creativity doesn't stop at the gallery walls. Our consulting services extend beyond the visual realm, encompassing design and hanging solutions for both residential and commercial spaces. We believe that art has the power to transform any space into a unique and personal sanctuary, and we're here to help you achieve that vision. In essence, Val Stokes Studio Gallery is not just an art gallery; it's a community of artists, dreamers, and creators. It's a place where ideas are born, friendships are forged, and the power of art is celebrated. We invite you to step into our world and become a part of our story. After all, every visit, every piece purchased, every class attended, contributes to the ongoing evolution of our gallery - and we can't wait to see where our journey takes us next.

Always brilliant, efficient, caring svc.
“Family have been going to Denise for years. Very caring with our elderly. Always receive efficient, professional, top quality service. I now live putside of ak, i still go to Denise. Highly recommennd Denise for Podiatry services and advice.”
Horrible rubbish packaging
“The new cardboard packaging is disgusting. I'm a land based fisherman. Went to one site and it was everywhere. I thought it was strange then bought a box of 3kg bombs for myself and yip. Packaging stuck to the berley. Hands smelt like berley. Rubbish harder to contain because it comes off in little pieces and I cannot contain the flow of barley like the old method. So much more rubbish. Why would you change what's not broken.”
Footprints Milton Street Christchurch
“Podiatrist didn’t explain what she was doing as she proceeded. When she finished treatment carried on sorting out equipment until I asked if she had finished. She hurt throughout. My foot requiring most treatment still hurts.Am in my eighties.Won’t be going back. Was pleased to find a place near me to have treatment but will be taking 2 buses next time to go much further to a gentle operator!”
Wrong way round.
“When installing a Legacy-Tekapo toilet roll holder we found the instructions put the base plate recesses horizontally they need to be top and bottom (vertically). We now have an extra hole in the wall, but were lucky the fully assembled holder has covered it.The grub screw with the allen key to do it up is a nightmare where as an ordinary slot for a flat screwdriver would be far easier and less damaging to freshly painted walls.”
