Welcome to Richard Lowe Piano Tuning Repairs, a cherished staple of Auckland's vibrant musical community, nurturing melodies since 1980. Over four decades, we've cultivated a rich tapestry of piano tuning, repairs, and maintenance, becoming the trusted sanctuary for countless pianos across our city. Our story is woven around Richard Lowe, a man who not only possesses an impeccable craftsman's touch but also a profound love for music that resonates in every note his hands caress. As a young apprentice, he found solace in the rhythmic dance of hammers on ivory and steel strings, and it was there that he vowed to honor each piano's unique voice. Today, we invite you into our world, a world where every scratch, ding, or discordant note is met with gentle understanding, where every piano undergoes patient, skilled hands to breathe new life into them. Our workshops hum with the harmonious melody of pianos in various stages of transformation—from a simple tune-up to an extensive restoration—all guided by Richard's wisdom and experience. We believe that every piano has its own story, its own melody waiting to be coaxed out. And just as Richard did, we listen, we learn, and we work tirelessly to bring each piano back to its former glory. From the tiniest screw to the most extensive repairs, our dedication never wavers. So, whether you're a seasoned pianist who cherishes your beloved instrument or a novice yearning for the perfect accompaniment to your journey, Richard Lowe Piano Tuning Repairs stands ready to embark on this musical adventure with you. Come, join us in our passionate pursuit of piano perfection, where every note matters and every piano tells a story. Welcome home to Richard Lowe Piano Tuning Repairs—your trusted partner in music.

Toilets
“Tried to find your shop. All I found at your address (80C Takanini School Road) was a toilet block behind a Sikh Temple.”
Bad
“Threatens customers for missed appointments and stalks them to find out their place of work. Highly unproffessional.”
WARNING: Misdiagnosed my pet
“WARNING: Blockhouse Bay Veterinary Centre misdiagnosed my pet and that resulted in premature death. Customer Service from the ladies on the front desk is non-existent – Too busy. It seems that somewhere down the line the owners of Blockhouse Bay Veterinary Centre, started concentrating more on the money than the service.”
No stars
“This company does not hold their staff responsible for their actions and has deprived a family of hundreds of dollars and a vehicle when times are already tough. Absolutely disgusting behavior and road rage from their worker lead to him hitting the back of my car. If this is how they conduct themselves then I can imagine they would not be honest and upfront in their work dealings and I would avoid using this company.”
