Nestled in the heart of Wellington, Red Roof Gallery and Framing is more than just a local art haven – it's a creative sanctuary where artists, enthusiasts, and aspiring visionaries come together to explore, learn, and indulge in the rich tapestry of artistic expression. Established with a passion for art that transcends trends, Red Roof Gallery and Framing has been an integral part of Wellington's cultural landscape since its humble beginnings. Our gallery is filled with an eclectic array of original artwork, each piece telling a unique story through the lens of various artistic mediums. From breathtaking oil paintings that capture the essence of Wellington's scenic beauty to intricate sculptures that challenge the mind, every work of art in our collection invites you to immerse yourself in its world and lose track of time. At Red Roof Gallery and Framing, we understand that framing is as much an art as creating the piece itself. That's why our skilled team of framers take great care in selecting the perfect frame for each artwork, ensuring it not only complements the piece but also protects it for generations to come. We believe that the right frame can make all the difference, transforming a simple canvas into a captivating conversation starter. Beyond our gallery walls, Red Roof Gallery and Framing is dedicated to nurturing the creative talents of our community. Our workshops and classes provide a supportive environment for artists at every level to expand their skills, explore new mediums, and find inspiration in each other's creations. Whether you're an experienced artist looking to refine your techniques or a novice eager to unleash your inner Picasso, our workshops cater to all skill levels, making it easy to find the perfect class that suits your needs. We understand that finding the right artwork and frame can be a daunting task, which is why we offer design consulting services tailored to your specific tastes and space. “Had their t/aways before, but last night..eew chicken chow mein, the taste was lovely, except: hardly any chicken, 1 coin size round of carrot halved and tough, large chunks of cauli quite firm, old broccoli it was going yellow underneath eewww, onion was lovely, appearance was horrid. Also had two spring rolls, eeeww, consisted of mince, some corn kernels and some peas, no shredded cabbage, flavour ok, but certainly not a spring roll, the pastry itself was good, I guess they made them.”
