About HARPISTINA

Harpist Ina learned harp from many of renown NZ harpists including Yi Jin & Carolyn Mills for more than 14 years. She started with a small lever harp (26 strings), moved to slightly bigger harp (36 strings), and now plays on her beautiful grand pedal harp (46 strings, with 7 pedals). Ina has a wide experience as an orchestra player, had her debut stage as a principal harpist with Auckland Youth Orchestra - Europe Tour in 2011, and currently playing with Auckland Symphony Orchestra as a principal harpist since 2014. She has appeared within numerous music groups around Auckland; Aorangi Orchestra, Blackbird Ensemble and Leys orchestra and Te Anahera Harp Quartet. Harpist Ina is also an experienced solo harpist for weddings and functions, and places where harp music is needed. She has done numerous events including wedding ceremonies, bridal parties, corporate events, and private functions. Her wide range of playlists always amuse her clients and their guests. She holds grade 8 certificate awarded from Associated Board of Royal School of Music based in London, UK, and currently working towards Music Diploma. Ina has other interests in wine, pottery, flowers, and travel.
