Welcome to Winter Philippa, your trusted companion in celebrating the most profound moments of love in Southland. We are a family-run team of marriage celebrants, deeply rooted in the beautiful city we call home, and honored to be a part of your journey towards commitment and union. Our story began more than two decades ago, when our founder, Philippa Winter, decided to devote her life's work to helping couples embark on their new life together. With a heart full of passion and an undying love for the power of vows, she established Winter Philippa as a beacon of hope and happiness in Southland. Throughout the years, our team has grown and evolved, but our dedication to providing exceptional service has remained unwavering. We specialize in marriage celebrations, civil unions, renewal of vows, and affirmation ceremonies – each one tailored to reflect the unique love story of those we have the privilege to serve. Our approach is personal, heartfelt, and always guided by your vision. We take great pride in creating memorable moments that echo through the sands of time, whether you choose to exchange your vows on a breathtaking beach or in a quiet, intimate setting. Our commitment to you goes beyond the documentation; we strive to make every moment meaningful, every word memorable, and every glance unforgettable. At Winter Philippa, we believe that love knows no boundaries, and our services are designed to celebrate this belief. We warmly welcome couples of all backgrounds, faiths, and orientations to join us in creating a beautiful tapestry of love stories woven into the fabric of Southland's history. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, we invite you to embark on this incredible journey with us. Let us help you create memories that will last a lifetime and remind you, every day, why you fell in love in the first place. Welcome to Winter Philippa – your story begins here.

Not Happy
“I came in to ask if they could do a repair for me and what it approximately would cost, but was told I would have to make an appointment first à 75 NZ$ before they could tell me....”
Annoyed
“Have been trying to contact you by phone several times, and not getting any response to either of your numbers. 5784182 or5784192 even though these nunbers are listed on line. Would like reply. My number is 5764814. Neville Wilson.”
Fantastic
“Been seeing her for the past 11 years and she is amazing! Always goes above and beyond for you. Couldn't recommend her enough!”
Poor
“Had their t/aways before, but last night..eew chicken chow mein, the taste was lovely, except: hardly any chicken, 1 coin size round of carrot halved and tough, large chunks of cauli quite firm, old broccoli it was going yellow underneath eewww, onion was lovely, appearance was horrid. Also had two spring rolls, eeeww, consisted of mince, some corn kernels and some peas, no shredded cabbage, flavour ok, but certainly not a spring roll, the pastry itself was good, I guess they made them.”
