Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Waikato region, Whangamata Medical Centre stands as a beacon of health and wellness for our vibrant community. Established with a passion to provide comprehensive medical care, we have been serving our neighbours since the early 1970s, growing organically alongside the town's expansion. Our commitment to general medical practice extends beyond the confines of our centre. We pride ourselves on being more than just a clinic; we are a home where health concerns find solutions, friendships blossom, and community spirit thrives. Our team, consisting of dedicated doctors, nurses, and support staff, work tirelessly to ensure that every patient receives personalised care that is second to none. In the face of life's unexpected twists and turns, we offer accident and emergency services 24/7. Our doors are always open, day or night, providing reassurance in the midst of uncertainty. We understand the gravity of such situations and strive to alleviate any worry with prompt attention and expert care. Repeat prescriptions, immunisations, cervical smears, and education clinics on topics such as asthma, diabetes, and more, are all part of our commitment to holistic health management. We believe that empowering our patients with knowledge and resources is essential in their journey towards good health. Our philosophy of care goes beyond the clinical walls. We engage actively with our community, organising health talks, workshops, and events aimed at fostering a culture of wellness. We are more than just a medical centre; we are a partner in health, a friend in times of need, and an advocate for your wellbeing. At Whangamata Medical Centre, we invite you to experience the difference our care can make in your life. Let us walk this journey together towards a healthier, happier future, right here in our beloved Waikato.
