In the heart of Wellington, where every day brings new adventures and learning experiences for little minds, stands the Wellington Region Free Kindergarten Association. For over half a century, we've been nurturing and shaping the future of our precious young ones, providing them with an unparalleled foundation for growth in our community. Our journey began as a humble association of kindergartens, driven by a shared passion for early childhood education. Today, we are a vibrant network of over 70 kindergartens, offering a diverse range of services that cater to every child's unique needs. From traditional kindergarten settings to our Pasifika Home Based Service (Etu Ao), we strive to create an environment where each child feels safe, valued, and ready to explore the world around them. We believe in the power of play, recognizing it as a fundamental tool for learning. Our dedicated team of educators works tirelessly to foster creativity, curiosity, and resilience in every child who walks through our doors. We nurture their social skills, fostering empathy, respect, and understanding among peers. But we're more than just a place for early childhood education. We are a community, a family, here to support our families every step of the way. Our Family Support Programs offer a helping hand to those who need it most, providing resources, advice, and a listening ear when needed. In partnership with local kindergartens, we strive to set the standard for excellence in early childhood education across the Wellington region. We are committed to continuous improvement, investing in professional development for our educators and implementing best practices in all our services. So, whether you're a parent seeking a nurturing environment for your little one or a kindergarten looking for support and guidance, welcome to the Wellington Region Free Kindergarten Association family. Here, we grow together, learning, playing, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Come join us on this incredible journey of discovery and growth.
