More Information about The Wardrobe

Nestled in the heart of Otago, The Wardrobe has been a cherished cornerstone of our vibrant community since 1996. A passion project born from a shared love for fashion and sustainability, we have dedicated over two decades to curating an enchanting collection of pre-loved clothing that speaks volumes about the women who once wore them. Enter our delightful boutique and be greeted by an inviting atmosphere, brimming with a myriad of designer pieces waiting to find new homes. Our extensive collection includes everything from timeless classics to trendy, on-the-pulse garments - all carefully selected for their quality, style, and impeccable condition. We pride ourselves on our consigning process, ensuring every item that graces our racks has been thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and lovingly prepared before it meets its next adoring owner. Our clients can rest assured that they're investing in not only stylish, high-quality clothing but also contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry. But we're more than just a secondhand clothing store; we're a creative hub where fashion meets function. You'll find an array of practical and versatile rain gear, perfect for those unpredictable Otago weather days. We believe that staying dry doesn't mean compromising on style! Our team is passionate about more than just clothing - we're digital marketing whizzes, print advertising gurus, and design connoisseurs all rolled into one. We use our combined expertise to keep our online presence fresh, engaging, and accessible for fashion enthusiasts far and wide. But don't worry, if you prefer the tactile charm of flicking through a glossy magazine, we've got you covered there too! At The Wardrobe, we invite you to explore, discover, and indulge in the magic of pre-loved fashion. Join us on this journey as we transform the way Otago women shop for their wardrobes while promoting a more sustainable future for all. We can't wait to welcome you into our ever-evolving family!

Bad

“My mother when into buy a new iPhone and the sales person put her old SIM card into the new phone. At the point of sale charged her $20 for this. This charge was not disclosed to her until very end!”

Jill Matthews Woodhaugh Rest Home

My close friend was there

“Absolutely appalling, no engagment with famly or updates on her health, 3 admissions to hospital due to lack of nursing expertise and diagnosis. No notification to family re these incidents. Wouild never recommend it, in fact have posted on Facebook to Dun edin citizens never to use this facility, this was backed up by audits reports and written in such a way that it would not be deemed slanderous or libelous in any way.”
