More Information about Te Rangi Marie Kohanga Reo

Nestled in the heart of Bay of Plenty, Te Rangi Marie Kohanga Reo has been a cherished beacon of childcare and education for over three decades. Since our humble beginnings in 1992, we've grown into a vibrant and nurturing space where little ones from toddlers to school-agers find their wings. Our story is one of love, learning, and laughter. Each day, as the sun rises over our beautiful grounds, our dedicated team of teachers welcome the new day with open arms, ready to guide and inspire the next generation. We believe in fostering a sense of belonging, encouraging curiosity, and nurturing the unique potential within each child. Our classrooms are more than just rooms; they're environments designed to stimulate, challenge, and comfort. Here, babies and children learn through play, guided by our experienced teachers who understand that every child is on their own learning journey. We pride ourselves on our commitment to the Early Childhood Education (ECE) principles, ensuring that every moment spent with us is a step towards a brighter future. At Te Rangi Marie Kohanga Reo, we're not just about education; we're about nurturing well-rounded individuals who are ready for the daytime adventures of kindergarten and beyond. We celebrate our rich Māori culture, which is woven into everything we do – from our daily kai (food) to our whakataukī (proverbs) that guide us in our teachings. So whether you're passing by or considering joining our ohana (family), we invite you to step into Te Rangi Marie Kohanga Reo and experience the magic for yourself. Here, every day is a new opportunity for growth, learning, and love – and we can't wait to share it with you.

Bad

“They were very late and didn't answer the phone. They were rough and damaged a few items, including putting a dent in our new fridge. I would not recommend. Lisa.”

“Podiatrist didn’t explain what she was doing as she proceeded. When she finished treatment carried on sorting out equipment until I asked if she had finished. She hurt throughout. My foot requiring most treatment still hurts.Am in my eighties.Won’t be going back. Was pleased to find a place near me to have treatment but will be taking 2 buses next time to go much further to a gentle operator!”

Excellent

Jill Matthews Woodhaugh Rest Home

My close friend was there

“Absolutely appalling, no engagment with famly or updates on her health, 3 admissions to hospital due to lack of nursing expertise and diagnosis. No notification to family re these incidents. Wouild never recommend it, in fact have posted on Facebook to Dun edin citizens never to use this facility, this was backed up by audits reports and written in such a way that it would not be deemed slanderous or libelous in any way.”
