Nestled in the heart of Auckland, Te Puna Reo O Manawanui Early Childhood Centre is more than just a childcare centre – we are a vibrant, nurturing hub where tamariki (children) flourish and learn, immersed in an environment that cherishes their unique whakapapa (heritage). Established over two decades ago, our centre has been woven into the rich tapestry of Auckland's educational landscape, providing exceptional early childhood education to generations of tamariki. Our mission is simple – we strive to create an engaging, total immersion Te Reo Māori learning environment for tamariki aged 0-5 years, fostering a strong foundation in language and culture that will last a lifetime. We are proud to offer full-day services, ensuring that our tamariki receive the consistent care and attention they deserve throughout their day. But what truly sets us apart is our commitment to the government's 20 Hours Free Education initiative for children over three years old. This means more opportunities for your child to grow, learn, and play, all while being supported by our dedicated team of qualified teachers who are passionate about fostering a love for learning in every tamariki under their care. At Te Puna Reo O Manawanui, we believe that each child is unique, with their own set of strengths, interests, and abilities. Our curriculum is designed to cater to these individual needs, ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. We celebrate our tamariki's achievements, both big and small, fostering a sense of pride and self-confidence that will stay with them long after they leave our centre. As you step into our centre, you'll be greeted by the sound of laughter, the sight of curious minds at work, and the warmth of a community that values the importance of early childhood education. We invite you to join us on this journey of discovery, learning, and growth as we guide your child towards a bright and promising future. Kia kaha, Te Puna Reo O Manawanui – strong, resilient, and ever-growing, just like the tamariki who fill our centre each day.

Danger Is Ok?
“Manuka St Castlecliff , Payne trucks often at cattle run across entire road so anyone coming round corner of Mill Rd into Manuka St cannot see what is coming at all, must not only cross onto the wrong side of the road but onto the grass verge to get around. The seeing distance does not exist. There exists a real danger, regularly. Why no traffic safety people when blocking the road like this? Is it legal to park across a now busy public road creating a danger with no safety plans are used?”

“Was disappointed to have the entire system sunk to at least 1m with holes still forming in my back yard within a day of the installation alongside the mess left behind. ”
Poor service
“Contact was made via Builderscrack, Inc arrangement for site visit. Quote was sent and accepted then refused by Mr Sandless after I awarded job via Builderscrack. Reason being Lianne thought it was a private job even though she had contacted me via BC. So I'm left with no one to do my floors because they did not want to pay the commission to BC. I chose to list through BC in order to only have contact from someone that actually wanted the job but still ended up feeling shafted.”
