Nestled in the heart of Southland, Te Oruanui Inc Society stands as a vibrant beacon of Maori culture, community, and progress. Established over three decades ago in 1985, we have been unwavering in our commitment to fostering connections, uplifting individuals, and strengthening families within our diverse tapestry of society. Our organization is not just a group; it's a whanau (family) that welcomes all ages, from the young kei-matau (students) finding their footing in life to our kaumatua (elders), who share invaluable wisdom and experience. We are proudly an inclusive space for women, men, teams, and families - anyone seeking a sense of belonging and the opportunity to grow together. At Te Oruanui Inc Society, we cherish the unique qualities that each member brings to our whanau. Our aim is to cultivate a nurturing environment where every individual can flourish, guided by the principles of manaakitanga (hospitality), aroha (love), and kotahitanga (unity). Our work extends beyond the walls of our marae (meeting house) into the wider community. We collaborate with schools, businesses, and other organizations to share the richness of Maori culture and promote understanding, respect, and cooperation among all peoples. Through workshops, events, and mentorship programs, we strive to empower each person who walks through our doors with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in today's world. Te Oruanui Inc Society is more than just an organization; it's a living testament to the enduring spirit of Te Ao Maori (the Maori World). Visit us and become part of our story - join hands with us as we continue to weave a brighter future for generations to come.

“Excellent service , both on the phone and face to face, and a very good price. We needed a skip urgently and it was delivered just before Christmas, only a day after we requested it. Highly recommend.”
