More Information about Te Oranga O Nga Kaupapa Kohanga

Welcome to Te Oranga O Nga Kaupapa Kohanga, nestled in the heart of beautiful Waikato. Established over two decades ago in 1993, we've been a beacon of childcare and education in our community, providing an exceptional learning environment for tamariki (children) from infancy to school-age. At Te Oranga O Nga Kaupapa Kohanga, we take great pride in our unique approach to early childhood education. Our kindergarten is not just a place of learning; it's a vibrant cultural haven where the Māori language and heritage are woven into every aspect of daily life. Our teachers, who are passionate about nurturing the next generation, create a total immersion te reo Māori environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. The 20 Hours Free Education is available to children over 3 years old, making quality education accessible to many families in our community. We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life, and we strive to provide just that. Our programmes are tailored to meet each child's individual needs, ensuring they develop at their own pace while having fun and forming lasting friendships. At Te Oranga O Nga Kaupapa Kohanga, we don't just educate; we inspire. We instill a sense of pride in our tamariki for who they are and where they come from. Our kaupapa (philosophy) is rooted in the values of whanaungatanga (family), aroha (love), manaakitanga (hospitality), and respect for te taiao (the environment). So, if you're seeking a warm, supportive, and culturally rich environment for your child's early years, look no further than Te Oranga O Nga Kaupapa Kohanga. Come visit us, meet our friendly team, and experience the unique atmosphere that has made us a cherished part of the Waikato community for over 28 years. We can't wait to welcome you and your whānau (family) into ours!

Lovely gentleman

“We went to get a chain fixed and the gentleman there was very helpful and decent, I'm assuming it's the owner Graeme. They also have gorgeous items for sale.”

Excellent

“Great job fixing Pajero speedo. Sent it down from Hawkes Bay because he did a great job on my cruise control a few years back. Well recommended”

Poor

“Poor communication and service. Huge delays with a lack of updates. Average curtains for the cost. Would not recommend.”

Bad

“If there was a -100 rating that would be my rating !! DO NOT USE NTF or Neville Thomson Fencing. Incompetent, our fence is unfinished, still have no gate !!! ”
