Nestled in the heart of Auckland, the St Vincent de Paul Society has been a beacon of hope for over a century, tirelessly working to uplift our community and support those in need. Founded on the principles of love, compassion, and service, we are a fellowship of friends dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbours, friends, and family members. We proudly serve as Auckland's leading welfare organisation, offering a spectrum of services designed to help those facing adversity regain their footing. Whether it's providing food support for struggling families, offering financial mentoring to guide individuals towards stability, or empowering young minds through our Vinnies Youth programs – we're here, ready to lend a helping hand. Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive. To this end, we operate an extensive network of shops and centres across Auckland, where you can donate your gently used items or find incredible bargains while giving back to those less fortunate. All proceeds from our sales support our welfare services, ensuring we're able to continue helping the most vulnerable members of our community. Beyond our shops and service centres, we offer a multitude of other programs tailored for students, women, and anyone seeking guidance on their journey towards self-sufficiency. Our approach is simple: we meet people where they are and work together to develop practical solutions that lead to lasting change. Throughout our long history, the St Vincent de Paul Society has remained steadfast in our commitment to serving the Auckland community. We invite you to join us on this mission of love, compassion, and service – whether as a volunteer, supporter, or recipient of our services – together, we can create a more caring, inclusive city for all.

Awful
“Shopped here a lot, but just refused a refund 20 minutes after $50 purchase because son realized it wasnt the right product after all. Incredibly mean spirited - will never shop here again and will make sure friends and colleagues don't either. What a sh*t way to treat your customers.”
Excellent service, quick response
“Excellent service, quick response, friendly approachable, and professional”
Bad
“HSL do not pay their debts. They have sublet the front factory and are now refusing to pay the lease due to financial difficulty. They can still pay a Lawyer to avoid paying their debt.”
