In 2013, thanks to a few important people and special friends, he realised that location needn’t be a limiting factor in having the best of the best on his side. The Sky Media story starts in 2004, when Corey took the opportunity to move from New Zealand to Sydney for a role in Telecommunications with Jacob Perkins , one of Australia’s most experienced sales managers. After two invaluable years under Jacob’s management and mentorship, Corey and his colleague Nidal found themselves with the challenge of managing an international call centre in Cairo, Egypt. After two years of long hours, hundreds of staff members, significant restructures and decades of experience crammed into 728 days, the duo returned to Australasia, where Corey further strengthened his business development skills and networks. In knowing some of the most talented people in their fields, and armed with decades of leadership and management experience, he realised the sky was literally his limit.
