More Information about Shalfoon and Francis Museum

Nestled in the heart of Bay of Plenty, Shalfoon and Francis Museum stands as a beacon of community spirit and shared history. Established over three decades ago, this charitable trust has been weaving its thread into the tapestry of our city, fostering an environment where everyone - from families with children to adults - can grow, learn, and serve together. At Shalfoon and Francis Museum, we believe that every story has the power to inspire, educate, and unite. Our collection, meticulously curated over the years, reflects the rich tapestry of our community - stories of resilience, innovation, and shared dreams. Each artifact is more than an object; it's a testament to the people who created it, used it, or preserved it. Our doors are always open, inviting all ages to step into our museum and immerse themselves in our community's past, present, and future. We offer employment opportunities for those passionate about history, education, and community service, providing a platform for personal growth while contributing to the well-being of our city. Beyond being a repository of artifacts and stories, Shalfoon and Francis Museum is committed to community development. We strive to create an inclusive space where diverse voices can be heard, ideas shared, and connections forged. Our programs focus on youth development, promoting the spirit of inquiry and creativity among our young minds. We also engage with adults through workshops, lectures, and discussions, encouraging lifelong learning and community engagement. In essence, Shalfoon and Francis Museum is more than just a museum. It's a living, breathing testament to our city's resilience, creativity, and unity. We invite you to join us on this journey of discovery, learning, and growth, as we continue to write the next chapters in the story of Bay of Plenty.

Disillusioned David Russell Electrical

Misleading would not recommend

“Do not commence work without a written quote unless you are happy to pay exorbitant prices for electrical components, i.e in most cases well above retail. Do not engage in business based on verbal estimates or offers of discounted component prices. In my case, these offers were not honored (fact).”

Excellent

“Excellent quality meat, great staff and service.”

Bad

“Number 8 dryer didn't dry the clothes at all ,was still damp... even tho we had the settings at high temp and was on for half an hour.”

Excellent

“Love the name cant wait to try the food !!!”

Bad

“Not professional at all, kept saying he would come quote the job, but never showed up, kept dicking us around, decided to give our money to someone more reputable, your loss!”
