Overcharging seems to be the common theme here, I thought there was some sort of standard for taxis in NZ? I note Crown are an Aussie company though... Will stick to Uber in future.”

“Pretty disappointed in paying nearly $170 for additional insurance on the vehicle and then to be charged $400 due to two windshield chips that could not have been avoided - are cars not for driving? The fact that the windshield was replaced instead of having the chips repaired also seemed kind of predatory. As one of the bigger rental companies I didn't expect to encounter cheap issues like this and unfortunately will look elsewhere for rentals in the future.”
