More Information about Open Polytechnic

Welcome to Open Polytechnic, nestled in the heart of Manawatu-Wanganui - a vibrant region steeped in New Zealand's rich educational heritage, with roots tracing back to 1946. We are more than just a correspondence school; we are your gateway to quality education, flexibility, and opportunity, no matter where you are on your learning journey. Our story began over seven decades ago as the Open School of New Zealand, pioneering distance learning in this beautiful country. Since then, we've grown and evolved, constantly adapting to meet the changing needs of our learners, now offering a wide range of online courses across various fields. Yet, our commitment to providing accessible education has remained unwavering. We pride ourselves on being a beacon of academic support, empowering individuals to take control of their learning. Whether you're seeking to upskill for career advancement, delve deeper into a passion, or simply satiate an insatiable curiosity, we have the program that suits your needs. At Open Polytechnic, learner support is not just a buzzword; it's our promise. Our dedicated team is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel supported and confident in your academic pursuits. And if you ever need a break from the digital world, our campus facilities are always open for you to visit, collaborate, and connect with fellow learners. We understand that learning isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is our approach. Our commitment to distance learning means you can study at your own pace, in your own space, making education accessible to all, no matter your location or circumstances. So, whether you're just dipping your toes into the world of learning or are a seasoned academic, we invite you to join us on this educational adventure. Together, let's redefine what's possible in distance learning at Open Polytechnic - Your University for Distance Learning.

Bad

“Ian Rapson definitely lives up to his known reputation of being the dirty deeds doctor of NZ. I’m a female patient of his last year and he made me bend over unnecessarily I couldn’t believe it! dirty ”

Worst fish and chips ever.

“I had been a regular customer until today. They must have changed their chips from Mr. CHIPS to some cheap chips which were soaked in oil and contained some double fried left over bits and pieces of dark oil soaked chips. The fish filets were half the amount of the oil drenched batter. We could not eat it and put it in the rubbish bin. I loved to go there in the past but todays order 2 fish fillets and one scoop of chips was not eatable, lets hope everyone else have a better experience.”

Bad

“The experience was unpleasant, I found her not professional what so ever. She has a rather negative domineer about her. I would highly not recommend if you are seeking any genuine help”

Absolutely crap

“Foul disgusting man, the king of bullshit would totally avoid at all cost!”

Terrible experience!

“If you want an unfinished build, a legal battle to last years, a non compliant home then this is the builder for you! Absolute crook!”
