Nestled in the heart of Otago, Open Plains Pet Cremations stands as a beacon of comfort and care for our beloved four-legged companions. Established with a deep-rooted passion for animals, we've been an integral part of this community for years, nurturing bonds between pets and their families in times of need. Our story began when we recognized the significance of every wagging tail, each purr, and every paw print left behind. We understood that our pets are not just animals; they're family members, friends, and confidants, and as such, deserve nothing but the best in their final journey. At Open Plains Pet Cremations, we offer more than just pet services. Our extensive range of offerings includes dog walking, grooming, training, and even glass cutting (for that special keepsake memento). Yet, it's our commitment to pet cremation and providing personalized urns that truly sets us apart. Each member of our team shares a common ethos: respect for every life we are entrusted with. We walk alongside families, offering compassionate support during their time of grief while ensuring each pet is treated with the love and dignity they deserve. Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to provide peace of mind, knowing your pet will be cared for with utmost respect and care until their final farewell. But we're not just a business; we're a sanctuary, a home away from home. We invite you to visit us, meet our team, and experience the warmth that permeates through Open Plains Pet Cremations. Whether it's a simple walk around the block or a heartfelt farewell ceremony, know that your pet is in caring hands here at Otago's Open Plains Pet Cremations.

“Very disappointed with aroundtoit handyman. Poor job, over charged, unreliable.”
Amazing service and workmanship
“Honestly wouldn't use anyone else now. Magicians with older homes, integrating new systems as impact-free on character of home as possible.”
The worst contractor
“O'Hagan Contracting was the worst contractor I have ever dealt with. Installation of septic tank and plumbing was so inadequate that I had to get another plumber in to fix up their mistakes. Right from booking them through to the service I received was incredibly disappointing and lackluster. Then they tried to over quote for work they never did or parts they never installed. An absolute nightmare to deal with. Do not use this contractor”
Unprofessional
“They refuse to finalize the item that is needed to finish. After waiting more than 6+months, I've sent my options to see what I can legally do to move forward. I would never recommend any company they own.”
Martini action custom built
“25 odd years ago John built me a custom rifle, we discussed the specs I requested and what he's produced is still my favourite rifle and I love it, especially the the beautifully crafted stock and fold out bipod. Out of the hundred rounds packed I still got 37 left. The majority used have hit the mark. Very accurate, peep sight perfection. Thanks for a very special rifle John.”
