About Nspex - Building Inspector For Property Inspections
GRANT TIBBITS – QUALIFIED BUILDING INSPECTOR Your building inspector Taupo, Grant Tibbits, knows better than most. Grant Tibbits created The Property Inspectors in 2010 in Auckland. Since then he has been working with many happy and satisfied customers. In 2021, he began NSPEX in Taupo. After all these years has built a reputation for being personable, honest and passionate about his work. Grant entered the building industry by completing an apprenticeship in Carpentry. He worked as a self-employed builder back in the ’80s, and years after, in 1991, before the department merged with the NZ Police, Grant joined the MOT as a Traffic Officer. After 19 years of service, including seven years as a Forensic Crime Scene Examiner, Grant turned his expertise and his keen eye for detail back towards the building industry, where he re-trained to become a pre-purchase property inspector. He hasn’t looked back since! In 2020 he created NSPEX where the professional building inspectors legacy continues, becoming one of the most qualified building inspectors in the Taupo, Rotorua and surrounding areas.

Home away from Home in Tailends Cattery
“Our furbaby has been going to his home away, at Tailends, for nearly 16yrs. The Apartments are beautifully appointed with well thought out comforts of home. The cattery with it's internal garden courtyard, captures the sun beautifully. The rural surrounding bush & birdlife is unique for this awesome cattery at Matakatia on the Whangaparaoa peninsula. We highly recommend.”
