About Natural Ange Limited

I began as a registered nurse for 10 years, when I realised I still had the ambition to work with herbal medicine and clinical nutrition to make a difference in health outcomes. I was amazed what the plants, minerals and clinical nutrition could achieve. Prescribing with an intricate knowledge of each plant and how it improves the function of the body was fascinating. I avidly read latest research and attend seminars to keep up with current literature. I have always loved consultations, hearing the story and the health journey, then working together in consultation with the person to find natural health solutions. I find it a privilege to work with people and their health, it is so deeply rewarding. After studying nursing at Auckland Technical Institute, then working at Greenlane hospital, and the Epworth Hospital, Melbourne. I studied to be a Naturopath at the Southern School of Natural Therapies (Melbourne) 1996. Since then I have attended a 6 month Herbal course with Isla Burgess "Traditions, Art and Science of Herbal Medicine". I am a professional member of the NZAMH, I have been president of the NZAMH 1999 - 2001 I always attend NZAMH conference and AGM weekends annually to meet with my herbal colleagues and hear the fantastic presentations. I have also presented on occasion at the conferences. What to Expect First consultation is one hour, where I take a full case history including presenting complaints, previous illnesses, family health history, medications or supplements that you take. I will make recommendations about the lifestyle and dietary measures that will improve your wellbeing, then I get more specific with what I need to prescribe for your presenting condition. This may be herbal medicine, or minerals etc. Time is spent explaining how I expect it to work so that you can understand the purpose of your treatment. Then I book a follow up appointment for half an hour to review progress, and adjust accordingly and answer questions as they arise.
