Nestled in the heart of Manawatu-Wanganui, the National Army Museum is a beacon of historical significance that invites visitors to journey through the rich tapestry of New Zealand's military heritage. Established over half a century ago, our museum has grown from humble beginnings into an expansive repository of stories, artifacts, and experiences that offer a unique blend of education, entertainment, and inspiration. Our mission is to preserve and share the tales of bravery, resilience, and camaraderie that have defined our military history. From the rugged landscapes of World War I battlefields to the jungles of Vietnam and the peacekeeping missions of today, our exhibits transport you across time and space, immersing you in a world where courage and sacrifice are the order of the day. As you wander through our galleries, you'll encounter a diverse array of artifacts - from uniforms worn in battle to medals earned in service, and even the very vehicles that carried our brave men and women into harm's way. Each item tells a story, a story of the individuals who answered the call to duty and the lives they impacted along the way. But the National Army Museum is more than just a collection of artifacts; it's a vibrant community dedicated to learning, sharing, and celebrating our military history. We offer a variety of activities, classes, and tours designed to engage visitors of all ages and interests. Join us for a guided tour led by one of our knowledgeable guides, or participate in one of our interactive workshops where you can learn everything from basic drill to the art of map reading. We pride ourselves on being an accessible museum that caters to everyone, regardless of ability or background. Our facilities are designed with inclusivity in mind, and we offer a range of resources to ensure that everyone can fully immerse themselves in the stories we tell. So come, step into our hallowed halls, and let us take you on a journey through New Zealand's military history. Whether you're a lifelong student of history or a curious newcomer, there's something for everyone at the National Army Museum. Let us inspire you, challenge you, and leave you with a newfound appreciation for the sacrifices made by our brave men and women in uniform.

Trucks travelling over speed liit
“Going through Inglewood between tawa st and Dudley roan, which is at present under road works of 30klm. This truck was going at least 60 klm or more towards Stratford at approx 12.15 to 12.40pm today. Please advise driver that police are being informed of speeding.”
Excellent
“Excellent service, couldn't fault anything, Tony arrived on the site when he said he would, on time and did an excellent job. He left no mess and where he had been working was spotless. Thanks Tony, you will do well.”
Misleading would not recommend
“Do not commence work without a written quote unless you are happy to pay exorbitant prices for electrical components, i.e in most cases well above retail. Do not engage in business based on verbal estimates or offers of discounted component prices. In my case, these offers were not honored (fact).”
Overlocker blade sharpening
“Very appreciative that Robert was able to sharpen my overlocker blade while I waited. Thank you also for going the extra mile and getting the door to close properly too.”
