Welcome to Marlborough Street Childcare Centre, nestled in the heart of Wellington since 1991. Over the past three decades, we've been committed to providing exceptional child care and early childhood education for our little ones. We offer programs for all ages, from tender infants to energetic kindergarteners, ensuring a seamless transition for every child in their early learning journey. Our not-for-profit status ensures that we can focus solely on the best interests of each child, providing them with the 20 hours free (for children over 3) they're entitled to, as well as additional care and activities beyond this. Our centre is carefully designed to cater to our maximum of 30 children (15 under 2s), ensuring a nurturing and intimate environment where every child feels valued and supported. We believe in the power of play-based learning, creating an environment filled with age-appropriate toys, art supplies, and outdoor spaces that encourage exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
