Nestled in the heart of Canterbury, Home and Family Society CHCH Inc has been a beacon of hope and comfort for over a century. Established in 1908, we've grown from a small community initiative into a comprehensive welfare organisation, dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and children who are navigating life's toughest challenges. Our story began as an answer to the needs of our community, and over the years, we've expanded our services to encompass a wide range of support. We pride ourselves on our 24-hour supported accommodation, providing a safe haven for those who need it most. When times are darkest, our doors remain open, offering a sanctuary where healing can begin. Our team is a blend of experienced professionals, each bringing their unique skills and compassion to help guide those in need. We offer counselling services, including grief counselling, designed to provide a supportive environment for emotional exploration and growth. Our approach is always tailored to the individual, ensuring every person receives the care they deserve. At Home and Family Society CHCH Inc, we understand that everyone's journey is unique. That's why we strive to create an inclusive, understanding environment where all are welcome. We believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from collective support. We couldn't do what we do without the generosity of our donors. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us continue our mission. If you feel moved to help, know that your kindness has a direct impact on our community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. Home and Family Society CHCH Inc is more than just an organisation; we're a family. We invite you to join us in our mission, whether as a recipient of our services or as a supporter. Let us walk together on this journey towards healing, understanding, and growth.

Too many mistakes in mail delivery
“Some of mails getting delivered in another mail box..and found my mails open quite often.. so it's a breach!NOT AT ALL PLS WITH DXMAIL!”
Excellent
“First class wedding album makers and distributors. Brian and his daughter are great, been with them for years. Paul Broome.”
Brilliant company
“Honest, reliable and friendly. Could not ask for better. Thank you Rob and Bronwyn”
Poor
“Unfortunately this group are founded and corner stoned in the believe of segregation. Even though they are a psychologist group they do not respect individuality or personal views and would rather belittle people and their views. Psychologist duty are to respect people and their views, to help them grow, to be non judgemental and supportive in a safe space. It seems in this group of psychologist personal views are more important than client/patient health and well-being”
