Nestled in the heart of the vibrant Waikato region, Home Grown Kids has been a cherished part of our community since 1997. As a dedicated provider of childcare and early childhood education services, we firmly believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment where they can grow, learn, and flourish. Our home-based childcare approach offers an intimate, family-oriented setting, allowing each little one to thrive in a safe and loving atmosphere. Our dedicated team of educators and teachers, who are as passionate about early childhood development as we are, work tirelessly to ensure every child receives the best possible care and education. We understand that quality childcare can be a significant financial investment for many families, which is why we proudly support the 20 hours ECE subsidy and offer assistance with WINZ subsidies to help make early childhood education accessible and affordable for all. At Home Grown Kids, we're not just caregivers; we're partners in your child's journey of discovery. We believe that every child is unique and has the potential to change the world, so our approach emphasizes on empowering children with knowledge, skills, and confidence to shape their own futures. But it's not all work and no play here! Fun, laughter, and a touch of mischief fill our days as we engage in a variety of creative and educational activities designed to stimulate young minds and promote holistic development. From storytelling sessions to outdoor adventures, music classes to arts and crafts, each day is a new opportunity for learning and exploration. Our doors are always open to the community, inviting parents, families, and friends to join us in our shared mission of nurturing the next generation. Home Grown Kids is more than just a childcare center; it's a home where every child is cherished, valued, and given the wings to soar. Come, join us as we grow together!

The lady there is a nasty piece of work
“My coins got jammed in the machine I asked her for help and I was just having a alight with my mates and she lost it and told me she wouldn’t help unless we stopped being dramatic and stop screaming when all we were doing is having a laugh and then she told me to not come back so definitely won’t be going back that’s for sure”
Slave wages
“Pink fit hastings is paying staff shit wages the staff member didn't no how to put batts in don't hire this company is the worse thing I've come across in my 28 years in building”
Terrible
“I do not recommend this valuer at all as not only are they more expensive than most other valuers, but they also gave us a really low value on our property, which was almost $100,000 less than 3 different real estate agents provided to us in their free market appraisals. The valuer also compared our property to mostly 2 bedroom houses when our house is 3 bedrooms and they still valued our house less than these properties. They also did not address the points that I raised in my email.”
