Nestled in the heart of Otago, Crombie Monumentalist has been a beacon of enduring craftsmanship for generations. Established in the rich tapestry of our city's history, we are more than just monumental masons - we are guardians of memory, custodians of stories, and artisans who breathe life into stone. Our journey began with a vision to create not just memorials, but heartfelt tributes that stand the test of time. With each passing day, we've refined our skills in customising, restoration, cleaning, repairs, renovations, lettering, and engraving, ensuring every piece crafted by us echoes the unique spirit of those being honoured. As you step into our workshop, you're greeted by the soothing rhythm of hammers on stone, the soft whispers of creativity at work, and the gentle hum of history being brought to life. The air is thick with the scent of time-worn granite, polished marble, and freshly carved limestone, carrying tales of love, loss, triumph, and resilience. We are a family, bound together by a shared passion for our craft. Our master masons have spent decades perfecting their skills, passing down the secrets of their trade from generation to generation. They work with an artist's precision and a craftsman's devotion, ensuring each creation bears the hallmark of Crombie Monumentalist - a timeless beauty that transcends trends, etching itself into the annals of our city's history. Our story is woven into the fabric of Otago, a testament to our commitment to quality and our dedication to honoring those who have walked before us. If you seek a memorial that reflects your loved one's spirit, or wish to breathe new life into an aged monument, we invite you to visit us. Let us help you craft a tribute that will stand the test of time, a symbol of enduring love and eternal remembrance in the heart of our city.

The lady there is a nasty piece of work
“My coins got jammed in the machine I asked her for help and I was just having a alight with my mates and she lost it and told me she wouldn’t help unless we stopped being dramatic and stop screaming when all we were doing is having a laugh and then she told me to not come back so definitely won’t be going back that’s for sure”
Poor Customer Service
“Very rude, abrupt, would talk over me and hung up when I asked for a time to drop car in.”
Excellent
“John is an experienced lawyer who has worked to gain me a protection and parenting order. His diverse legal experience and knowledge is a huge asset. He was strategic, I’m very happy with results.”
Terrible service and poor quality shoes.
“I bought a $300 pair of leather boots from taylors. after wearing them occasionally to work (in an office) a few times per week they have completely worn through the sole and are leaking water. I returned them to taylors to request either the shoes are repaired or a refund.I was told they had to be sent to Richmond so the owner could assess them..many days later I received a very rude phone call from Craig tailor who accused me of lying about how often I wear them and what activities I used them”
