Welcome to Courtenay Place Bakery, nestled in the heart of vibrant Wellington City, where the aroma of freshly baked goods wafts through the air, inviting passersby with an irresistible charm since 2010. Our humble beginning was merely a dream harbored by a group of passionate bakers who believed in the art of creating delectable delights that would tantalize the taste buds and warm the hearts of our beloved community. As you step into our cozy haven, you are greeted by a sight that never fails to delight - a kaleidoscope of pastries, cakes, pies, and breads meticulously crafted with love and skill. Each offering, whether it's the flaky layers of our classic pies or the golden-brown crust of our artisanal loaves, is a testament to our commitment to quality, using only the finest ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. But we are more than just a bakery; we are a community gathering spot where friendships blossom over steaming cups of coffee and mouthwatering sandwiches. Our daily offerings extend beyond breads, with scrumptious savory quiches, sandwiches that burst with flavor, and cakes so tempting they might just make you forget your diet! At Courtenay Place Bakery, we are proud to have earned a reputation as Wellington's go-to destination for all things baked. Our team of skilled artisans work tirelessly behind the scenes, perfecting their craft and experimenting with new recipes that push the boundaries of traditional baking techniques. It is this relentless pursuit of perfection that sets us apart from the rest. As you leave our bakery, we hope you carry with you not just a box filled with delicious goodies, but also the warmth and friendliness that defines Courtenay Place Bakery. We look forward to serving you soon, and in the meantime, remember: at our bakery, every day is a reason to celebrate, and every treat is worth savoring!

“I am a busy mother of 5 children. Multiple times I have put my back out or my neck either during pregnancy or if I've lifted something too heavy. Lynette at Hobsonville Chiropractor has been incredible at helping my body to go back to normal, Lynnette seriously has saved me from having to deal with excruciating pain, she is highly professional nd really cares. My 5 kids get adjusted a few times a year. I find they sleep better and their moods are much better after their appointments.”
Jennings Jewelers
“I live in the states and bought a watch from Trade Me, I had a friend- Co-worker from Gisborne bring in my Michael Kors watch for a battery, That was 10 days ago, I feel like its taking a long time for a battery. This watch is for our boss, my co- worker still need to send the watch to me here in the states. I'm getting worried it will not make it here for his birthday. Fingers crossed I hear something this week. Debbie Santos. GM Hilton Hotels, NJ”
Excellent
“Great management team. Matt was very professional. Rooms looked excellent for the location and price. I would recommend Hutt City Gardens for long-term.”
Sabotaged my vacuum
“Clint or Clinton was asked to repair a Festool midi vacuum. The price was almost the cost of a new one to repair. I couldn’t afford it. I did get my own motor delivered for $164 inc gst. Problem is all the wires in side have been pulled and cut. I’m not a big company and think this is totally of order. Unprofessional, unethical and completely unnecessary.”
