More Information about Clive's Upholstery and Marine

Welcome to Clive's Upholstery and Marine, nestled in the heart of Tauranga – a city brimming with the charm of the Bay of Plenty. Since our inception, we've been more than just an upholstery and marine supplies store; we're a community of craftspeople who breathe life into your dreams, be it for your prized vessel or cherished home furnishings. Our story begins with Clive, a man whose passion for preserving and enhancing the beauty of the world around him has grown stronger over the decades. With an unyielding commitment to quality, he founded our workshop in 1975, where each piece – whether it's a boat cushion or a marine canopy – is expertly crafted with a personal touch that only experience and dedication can bring. Our team of artisans, who share Clive's passion for detail and craftsmanship, work tirelessly to ensure that every project we undertake is executed to perfection. We specialize in upholstery restoration, repairs, and custom designs, transforming worn-out items into works of art that exude timeless elegance. For those who share the sea's allure, our marine services cater to yachts and boats of all shapes and sizes, offering everything from boat covers and cushions to complete refurbishments. But we don't just stop at restoration – we strive to deliver lasting satisfaction by providing top-quality supplies that enable you to maintain your vessels and upholstery in pristine condition. Whether you require marine-grade fabrics, durable cushion foam, or sturdy zippers, our extensive range of products will ensure your investments stand the test of time. At Clive's Upholstery and Marine, we believe that every project is a chance to create something unique, something that reflects the personality of the person who cherishes it. We invite you to visit us, share your dreams with our team, and let us bring them to life. From our humble beginnings in Tauranga to the many homes and vessels we've had the privilege of servicing, we are proud to be a part of this beautiful community, and look forward to being a part of yours as well.

Tech Expertise with integrity

“This is my go-to tech business in Whanganui and came to me via recommendation. Jared knows his business and tailors tech solutions to his client's needs. Underpinning the industry expertise is a foundation of integrity and reliability. I highly recommend REL Computers.”

Terrible receptionist

“My son needed Dental check and we tried calling this dental clinic multiple times but unable to reach. So we decided to visit to make appointment. Upon visit reception lady was so rude! she immediately told us to leave and to call the number to make a booking. Next day when we called to make booking same reception lady pick up phone and also immediately told us to call back after 10minute! this was horrible service and we not gonna go there or recommend anyone to go!”

Wrong way round.

“When installing a Legacy-Tekapo toilet roll holder we found the instructions put the base plate recesses horizontally they need to be top and bottom (vertically). We now have an extra hole in the wall, but were lucky the fully assembled holder has covered it.The grub screw with the allen key to do it up is a nightmare where as an ordinary slot for a flat screwdriver would be far easier and less damaging to freshly painted walls.”
