In the heart of New Plymouth, where the green hills of Taranaki cradle our vibrant city, stands Avatar of Taranaki – a beacon of compassionate care and dedication to the health and wellbeing of those in need. Since our founding, we've been committed to providing top-notch nursing services that are not just professional, but heartfelt. Our story began with a simple desire to make a difference in our community – to ensure that each individual receives the best possible care, regardless of their circumstances. Over the years, we've grown from a small team of dedicated nurses into a thriving nursing bureau that spans across various healthcare facilities in the region. At Avatar of Taranaki, we understand that caregiving is not just about administering medication or providing post-operative care. It's about being there for our patients – offering a comforting word, a steady hand, and an empathetic ear during their most challenging times. We are with them through inpatient stays, emergency situations, and the slow, steady journey towards recovery. Our team is composed of experienced nurses who have honed their skills not only in the classroom but also on the frontlines of healthcare. They bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to the care they provide. Whether it's dressing wounds, managing medications, or providing emotional support, our nurses are there every step of the way. We pride ourselves on our personal approach to nursing services. We take the time to get to know each patient, understanding their unique needs and tailoring our care accordingly. We believe that this personal touch is what sets us apart – it's the human connection that truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. At Avatar of Taranaki, we are more than just a nursing bureau. We are a part of your family, a source of comfort and strength during times of need. We invite you to join our community – a community built on care, compassion, and a shared commitment to the wellbeing of those in our care. Welcome to Avatar of Taranaki – where caring is more than just a job, it's our passion.

“Neil fixed my back my partner and also my dad. Also my partner Nana's neck he's amazing”
Wrong way round.
“When installing a Legacy-Tekapo toilet roll holder we found the instructions put the base plate recesses horizontally they need to be top and bottom (vertically). We now have an extra hole in the wall, but were lucky the fully assembled holder has covered it.The grub screw with the allen key to do it up is a nightmare where as an ordinary slot for a flat screwdriver would be far easier and less damaging to freshly painted walls.”
