Welcome to Arohanui Hospice Shops, nestled in the heart of Palmerston North – a vibrant city bursting with life and character. Established with a heartfelt purpose, we are more than just a secondhand clothing store; we are a community hub where stories unfold, friendships blossom, and lives touch. Our journey began, like many others, from humble beginnings. Over the years, we've grown into a sprawling emporium of treasures – a veritable Aladdin's cave filled with pre-loved clothing, furniture, and trinkets that tell tales as captivating as any novel. Every item you find here has a story, a history, and a life before it landed in our store. Each piece is unique, each piece tells a story, each piece is a testament to the power of giving and receiving. As you step into our shop, you're not just browsing through racks of clothing; you're stepping into a world where every purchase makes a difference. Your retail therapy becomes a philanthropic act, supporting Arohanui Hospice – an institution that brings comfort, care, and compassion to those in need. But we are more than just a retail space or a charitable cause. We're a family, a community, bound by shared values and a common goal. Our team is made up of volunteers who generously give their time, skills, and energy to keep our shop running smoothly. Each of them brings their unique flair, their individual stories, and their warm smiles to the table. And we want you to be a part of this family too! Whether you're looking for a new outfit, a unique piece of furniture, or a chance to give back, we invite you to join us. We offer volunteer opportunities that allow you to contribute in your own way, and a collection service for those who prefer the convenience of having their donations picked up. So come, explore our shop, share your stories, and let's create new ones together. At Arohanui Hospice Shops, every day is a new chapter, and we can't wait to write it with you.

Bad
“One one transaction this lawyer gave our resource consent to another party costing us $13,000 then she made a mistake in the GST and cost us another $42,000. She is arrogant, rude and no communication.”
Excellent
“They are awesome service and cater there packs for small families and within my price range thank you guys”
Terrible and dishonest.
“On purchasing a Subaru Outback, faults were found in an AA report which were promised to be fixed before pickup. They lied saying they had fixed them before the sale when they had not done so. On pick up of the car, I found further engine faults which they promised to rectify however never have, even with multiple follow up calls. Do not buy a vehicle from them, they are not trustworthy. They are a mechanic shop selling multiple cars under the pretence that that had been their personal vehicles.”
Bad
“Racist people who don't care about how offence the name of their cafe is, because when you're white you know youre in the right”
