Was charged $140 for a trip from the ferry building to the airport. Should have been $95-$100. Beware of Crown cabs

After a long haul flight I was too tired to walk 15mins to domestic terminal from international terminal. I told taxi driver I had cancer and couldn't walk so if he could take me.....I assumed he would use the meter but he didn't then he asked how much are you going to pay...we had already started driving, I said just use meter he said no. I said OK $20 which I thought was over paying he said no I want $50 I said thats crazy so he said ok $40 plus airport fee of $5 and eftpos fee of $3 so basica

$134 from Eden Park to Mairangi Bay then charged 10% to pay by Credit Card. Total rip off!!

They are a disgrace, got ripped off, $82.50 From town to Hillcrest, another friend took taxi same time and was charged $45 and she was even further, absolutely disgusting

Caught a taxi home from downtown with these guys and was charged 120 bucks, *twice* what it cost on the way in with a different company! Overcharging seems to be the common theme here, I thought there was some sort of standard for taxis in NZ? I note Crown are an Aussie company though... Will stick to Uber in future.

Drives around night spots and collects people who assume they are a standard taxi and then rips you off badly. Left something in taxi and he has no contact details to follow up and the address listed is wrong. How does he keep his license. Have complained o the Federation but he is still ripping people off nightly.

Shortland St to Kingsland Thu night taxi far cost $43 when usually $20 to $25. Not recommended.

Our ride cost $13.20 last Saturday but bank statement shows they took $21.20
